This is the official site of the Tuesday Night Poker club of NYC.  Here we will store news, commentary, photos, and the general history of our madcap escapades each and every Tuesday night. This site will be a virtual scrapbook and permanent online documentary of our adventures in gambling arguing and drunkeness.

ACES GO WILD!

Kenny Victorious in Plight.

After some heavy legal wrangling, Kenny emerged victorious in his plight to keep Aces wild in "low in hole" games.  A game was played last night with the "Free-Range" aces for the first time.  Unfortunately Kenny still miscalled his hand and subsequently lost. (story by, FELT)

LYMIE IS A WEINER!

Lymons' $100 win puts a dent in vast poker deficit.

Repeated strains of “buck-a-back-a-buck” rang though the proceedings like a Valkyrie, as Lymie laid waste to all he surveyed. Hand after hand, card by card, he accumulated a mound of chippage that heretofore he could have only dreamed of. The stunned combatants could only sit and watch as the  Man from Jackson, turned the tables on the doubting Thomases.

“Ha!” he said, “Y’all thought I couldn’t play”  Immediately afterwards, Las Vegas odds makers shorted Lymie for the next game.

Edict, refusing to capitulate to Lymies prowess, egged the cadre on until well past 1:00am. I lost count of how many hands we played, but it was well over 40.

Hank’s hosting was commodious, per usual. Vittles were provisioned by Dano & The Bronx, from Mimi’s of Lexington Ave. Free flowing booze was in evidence throughout the entire evening.

The rank & file, feeling in fine voice, serenaded Edict and the entire neighborhood to renditions of popular classics such as: “Happy Birthday Uncle Fucker.” (Redcard Reporting)

NO-BLUFFING...EDICT HITS 50!

Recalls first meeting with Ben Franklin.

The esteemed Edict Emeritus will turn 50 this Friday.  Friends will gather this evening to honor the living fossil.  The curious choice of locale: The restaurant CHURRASCARIA PLATAFORMA  where the scent of charred mammal is thick enough to be cut with a knife, will have to suffice to honor the famed sesquigenarian vegetarian braziliophile.

Rumor has it EE will regale the crowd with stories of his life and times as a foot soldier and part time piccolo player in the Great Revolutionary war,  the loss of his first wife at the hands of the marauding huns of Greater Mongolia, and his first job as jr. accountant with the Roman Empire.
