This is the official site of the Tuesday Night Poker club of NYC.  Here we will store news, commentary, photos, and the general history of our madcap escapades each and every Tuesday night. This site will be a virtual scrapbook and permanent online documentary of our adventures in gambling arguing and drunkeness.

Lead Story: March 27, 2001.

The South Shall Rise Again.

Not since Antietam 1862 has the Union seen such a ferocious attack by a southern agressor. Fueled by greed, luck, and fresh bottle of top-shelf Bourbon, "Riverboat" Lymie back-a-bucked his way to a major win last evening.

The man from Jackson treated the table like his own private "fishin' hole" pulling up pot after juicy pot at the expense of his fellow players. "I blame Ken: What was he thinking giving Lymie access to Maker's Mark? That's like giving Popeye his spinach," said one player. "The bourbon got him going but I think the codeine sent him over the edge" said Feltman, "he had to be completely out of his head otherwise he would have fucked up somewhere along the line."

Lymons' victory at Koneo's could mark the turning point in his poker career or perhaps this is just a personal "Brices Cross Roads:" (a short-lived victory) and the losing will soon resume. Only time will tell.  Could that smoke rising up from yonder delta be the confederate reserves needed to continue "Stonewall Brewer's" rebel campaign? Or could it be the fleet of Union Commander Farragut damning his torpedoes and driving "full steam ahead" for Lymie's wallet. Regardless I'm out of Civil War references and so this article, like our story line, must continue another time.
